SIMON LOUIS PESCHONG
ARCHITECTURE STUDENT
Hello! I'm Simon Peschong, a young architect originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, now living in Chicago, Illinois. I recently completed my undergraduate studies at Miami University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. Currently I am pursuing my Master of Architecture at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. With a passion for innovative design and a strong belief in the power of architecture to shape the world around us, I am excited to embark on this new phase of my academic and professional journey.
Ever since I was a child, architecture has always been something extremely important to me. Through my studies and experiences I have been lucky enough to view various styles all around the world and learn about the historic trends that have shaped what and how we design today. As I work towards my future, I will continue to include practices of sustainable design into my work and develop my skills to effectively and efficiently design both sustainable and beautiful buildings. To promote this I have been a part of Alpha Rho Chi, a professional co-ed fraternity dedicated to the practice and profession of architecture, for several years. As stated by the great Norman Foster, "As an architect, you design for the present, with an awareness of the past for a future which is essentially unknown."
